Hurray! Christmas Is Here!

Winters settle in,
Chilling winds make us shiver,
As the month of December ends,
With joy we say, "Hurray! Christmas is here!" Such a peaceful festival,
Lights and Carols all over the place,
As we head onto the streets,
We see people with a smile on their face.

Greetings to one and all,
Santa comes on his sleigh,
Distributing gifts and blessings,
In the snow, people love to play.

The Christmas tree is decorated,
With lights and other material,
Cakes are baked along with other confectionery,
Houses decorated with happiness that's perennial.

All the wishes are fulfilled,
New Year also rings the bell,
Double celebrations happen,
As people have many stories to tell.

My grandparents' anniversary,
As well as my friend's birthday,
Fall on this day,
So, for me, it's always an occasion filled with excitement and love anyway.
