Sajaakar sapne saath rehne ke,

Baat karoon, toh sharma jaate ho,

Ek halki si muskaan hothon par laate ho,

Tum bhi na, bade pyaare ho.

Har lamha mera intezaar karte ho,

Mann hi mann khush ho jaate ho,

Tum bhi na, mujhe acche lagne lage ho.

Pareshaan hoti hoon agar,

Toh mujhe hasaate ho,

Tum bhi na, bahut mazaak karte ho.

Tanhaaiyan ab door hain mujhse,

Hote tum jab paas ho,

Tum bhi na, bade khaas ho.

Zaroorat ho tumhaari agar,

Bin kahe baat samajh lete ho,

Tum bhi na, bade sayaane ho.

Doosron ki parwaah karte ho,

Hamesha prerna dilaate ho,

Tum bhi na, bade aasaani se dil jeet lete ho.

बेवफाई

Blessing in disguise (The sequel to I'm Still Waiting)

I was in complete shock,

The silence had killed me,

There was a pang of fear,

That filled in me.

I had two people,

Dependent on my income,

How would I manage?

How would the house rI was lost in deep thought,

An email buzzed on my phone,

It was from my boss,

And with excitement my face was shone. "You're promoted to be the assistant manager in the team," it said,

I couldn't believe my eyes,

Was I still dreaming?

Or was it Dad's blessing in disguise?

I sprung from the bed,

And ran to my mother,

"There's good news, Mom,

I got promoted, no need to fear!" She was so elated,

She thanked God first,

Then she looked upwards and thanked Dad,

And into tears of happiness, she burst.

Nobody is alone... Our world is full of blessings... Our ancestors will always stand by us through thick and thin... Value your family... Treat everyone well... After all, life gives very few chances of atonement...

I'm still waiting...

I usually board the metro,

On my way back home,

After a long and tiring day at work,

My back becomes as stiff as a stone.

Many people board it all at once,

The next one is usually late,

I'm seldom lucky to find a seat,

Or I stand near the gate.

It was a rainy evening,

A gloomy sky greeted me,

I was at the metro station,

All the trains got cancelled, unluckily.

I was in a hurry to get home,

My family was worried,

I pleaded for a ferry,

But everyone just hurried.

I got a call from my sister,

My father was serious,

He had suffered a heart attack,

My whole family was precarious.

They rushed him to the healthcare,

While I still awaited the train's arrival,

The doctors gave up,

He had very few chances of survival.

He was suffering from many ailments,

Alas, he breathed his last,

My mother broke down,

I was left aghast.

I couldn't see him when he left abode,

In Heaven, he resided now,

I cursed the weather and the situation,

To see him for the last time, why couldn't they allow?

The weather worsened,

Heavily the clouds were pouring,

In despair and helplessness,

At the metro station I'm still waiting.

MERI KHUSHIYON KO EK KHAT

Ae khushi,

Tu mujhse kyon aate hi khafaa ho gayi?

Kyon dilasa dilaya tune,

Ki iss sansaar mein abhi ummeed hai bachi?

Kyon pravesh karti hai tu?

Jab jaana hi tha?

Kuch pal agar ruk jaati,

Toh itna dard kabhi na hota!

Mehmaan ki tarah aa jaati hai,

Phir mudkar nahin dekhti hai,

Hum thehre tumhaare lautne ke intezaar mein,

Magar tu achanak chhup jaati hai.

Tu ek aisi atithi hai,

Jo manmarzi chale aaye,

Jab sakht zaroorat ho tumhaaari,

Toh tohfe mein kyon aasu tu de gayi?

Dilon ko jode bhi,

Ummeedon ko jagaaye bhi,

Phir achanak rooth jaati hai,

Yeh khushiyan sabko kahaan raas aati hai?

Aasu toh dono taraf behte hain,

Fark sirf itna hai,

Dard bhare hote hain dukh mein,

Aur ullas bhare hote hain sukh mein.

Har vyakti ne inhein mehsoos kiya,

Rang badalti hai yeh jaise khula aasmaan,

Kabhi bhi zyada der tikti nahin,

Yeh khushiyan bhi muft mein bikti nahin!

Mere gharwale baahar baithe hain,

Unko meri chinta hai,

Main hoon yahan ward mein,

Aur wahan ghadi ka kaanta mera waqt ginta hai.

Meri sahayata ke liye,

Parivaar waale aa nahi sakte,

Andar mujhe milti hai,

Ek nurse jo har samay meri dekhbhaal kare.

Woh kehti hai tum theek ho jaaoge,

Operation mein dhyaan woh bhatkaaye,

Dard mujhe ho agar,

Toh turant ishaaro se doctor ko deti hai khabar.

Har peedit ki jaan bachaaye,

Kitni shaant rehti hai,

Har operation mein kuch seekhti hai,

Har dard ki dawa deti hai.

Mere liye toh chamatkar se kam nahin,

Kehte hain doctor Bhagwan nahin,

Par woh agar aaj na hote,

Toh insaan kabhi bachne ki ummeed na rakhte.

Meri kalam,

Kitni wafadaar hai,

Iss mein basti,

Mera sansaar hai.

Sukh - dukh mein mera saathi,

Meri shaan hai yeh,

Kitno ki rozi-roti,

Ka zariya hai yeh.

Kabhi likhti hoon aanand se,

Toh kabhi dagmagaate huye,

Meri har bhavna ko,

Yeh itni khoobsurati se pesh kare.

Isske bina zindagi,

Kitni adhoori lagti, na?

Yeh sirf lekhak ke liye nahin,

Balki sabko zaroori lagti hai, na?

We live in God's creation,

We love all His property,

He gave us life as a boon,

He expected us to reciprocate similarly.

Positivity was His motto,

But people would become each other's enemies,

Little did He know.

We pleaded for achieving our objective,

He had mercy on us,

And pardoned all qualities negative.

We destroyed His aspirations,

He is too agitated,
