Mask

You believe what you see,
You are sure of it.
You decide whether to befriend or not,
Your life is your responsibility.

You trust blindly,
After initial meetings.
You never haste to build relations,
But, you end up hurting yourself finally.

Everyone around you,
Wears a mask of goodness and trust.
You become timid enough,
To remove it and see their colors, true.

They are selfish,
They help you for their own gain.
Nobody is genuine,
Everybody, their goals, wants to accomplish.

They'll pretend to be in your favor,
But, are actually otherwise.
Trust is a big factor,
That nobody seems to matter.

Given a chance, I'd fly (Song)

So many fantasies,
Our mind develops.
The world around us,
Becomes like dust.

You cannot compare,
Both of them.
The mind glows like the Sun,
The world is like a dark cloud, stealing all the fun.

Our desires and imagination,
Evolve with time.
Time won't wait by,
Given a chance, I'd fly.

The world I've created in my mind,
Isn't it just one of a kind?
People here can be trusted,
Our opinions can easily be rested.

There's no barrier to creativity,
Your work defines your identity.
You are in a world created by your thoughts,
Your work, everyone's eyes it has caught.

You can decide your future,
You have the power to try,
You can aim for the sky,
Given a chance, I'd fly.
