Suppressed Feelings

So many people out there,
Are waiting to be heard.
So many people out there,
Want to combat their fears.

But, do you think,
It's easy for them to do so?
They want to break their shell,
But, will the world decide where they should go?

Suppressed ambitions,
Suppressed desires.
Suppressed voices,
A river full of tears.

God has been given special powers,
A quality which He divides.
He's separated them in such a way,
That none of them even have a chance to collide.

Then, why do people hate each other?
Why do they torture so much?
So many restrictions are imposed,
Why, our lives, do they touch?

We become,
What they wanted to make us.
No one breaks them,
Nobody creates a fuss.

These feelings,
Are like lava in a volcano.
The more you try to suppress,
The heavier is the flow.

So, do what you think is right,
Do it just for yourself.
The world won't lament after losing you,
They'll get hundreds more to help.

Speak when you're being told to shut up,
Ask when in doubt.
Forget the world, it is full of excuses,
It's you, and only you, who can challenge yourself, shine, and prove to them that you stand out.

मस्ती-भरे लम्हे

जब जब मुझे आयी याद तेरी,
एक झौंके की तरह तू गुज़री,
कभी छुआ न था तुझे,
ऐ वक़्त, तू लौटा दे मेरे बचपन के मस्ती-भरे लम्हे।

शिकायत की है तेरी उससे,
कि तू दौड़े जा रहा है,
हम पीछे मुड़े तो,
तेरा साया लहराता जा रहा है।

एक अगर होती आखिरी इच्छा,
तो उन लम्हों को पाना चाहे हम,
क्या पता उन लम्हों में,
अपनी ज़िंदगी को जीने का मक़सद पा लें हम।

Unexpectedly True

There's no use of worrying,
Over things beyond our control.
Life has kept some challenges,
Over which we cannot control any changes.

Whatever we could do,
We've done.
Our life's remote control is in His hands,
It's He who decides where we land.

Never can we outwit him,
He is ten times smarter than us.
Never worry if things aren't in your favour,
Maybe His decision brings to your life a sweeter flavour.

The world is selfish,
Except Him.
Have faith that whatever He does today,
Will lead you to better and meaningful days.

Flames

I see the fire,
Burning at a distance.
It's got so much of radiance,
It glows in the dark.

The more we add ghee,
The brighter it will get.
Whenever, its flames I've met,
I felt myself dying from within.

Fire has different contexts,
I may see it as the end.
For, it's for the last rites of the person to whom a shoulder we lend,
And, for some, it's a ritual to start afresh.

It burns with so much of intensity,
I wonder how it is so powerful.
A crowd of people, towards it get pulled,
When it is lit up as a bonfire.

Flames burn a person,
Dead or alive,
For some, it's an inspiration to survive,
For some, it is like a warrior that will die after water is poured over it and will get extinguished forever.

The Dew (Song)

Whenever I see the grass,
I feel something pass through me
Through me...

The world's come to a standstill,
The grass is the only thing I see,
I see...

So, when I walk on it,
I feel, so relaxed,
The world bothers me no more,
I'm aware about myself now,
I'm closer to the Universe,
The future before me starts to glow.

The dew...
It makes me feel so refreshed,
The dew...
How can I make my life a stage where there's everything new...

I step on it,
Energizing each vein,
Whenever I look at it,
I forget my pain.

There's so much to learn,
There's so much to see,
I don't know,
How much time I have with me.

It teaches me to live in the moment,
The Sun'll destroy it.
There's a new tomorrow,
There's no fear by it.

The only fear I have,
If the grass isn't anymore,
I'll start feeling lonely,
For sure.

There's scarcity,
Of greenery,
The world isn't concerned,
About how cruel their future might be.

ज़िन्दगी (गाना)

सिर्फ एक ही बार मिलती है,
मिलते ही होंठो पर हँसी खिलती है।
नसीब पाया है तुमने, जनाब,
आज, इस जन्म में, पिछले कर्मो का देना है जवाब।

कितने दिन, कितने साल , चलेंगी तुम्हारी सांसे,
लौटोगे तुम, आये थे जहाँ से।
मौत और जन्म का फासला,
कौन है अकेला बिताता?

परिवार मिला, प्यार मिला,
दोस्त मिला, रूठे का चेहरा खिला।
आज नहीं तो कल, बिछड़ना है,
आज, इसी पल मुझे उड़ना है।

बेफिक्र, बेखौफ हो कर,
कुछ कहना था मुझे, मगर,
दुनिया के सामने अपने सम्मान की चिंता करते हुए,
वह लफ्ज़ रह गये, दिल में दबे हुए।

समाज भी कैसा है?
उन्हें हर जगह दिखे सिर्फ पैसा है।
पैसेवालों से चलती है दुनिया,
उन से ही मिलती है खुशियाँ।

ऐसी सोच रख कर,
हम कभी न गए आगे बढ़कर।
वही करो जो तुम चाहो,
अपने बोल लिखकर, उसे गाओ।

जितनी देर ज़िंदा हो,
अपने सपने साकार करो।
यह दुनिया बड़ी ज़ालिम है, मेरे दोस्त,
न यहाँ जीएँगे, और न ही जीने देंगे, मेरे दोस्त।

आज की शाम,
ज़िन्दगी के नाम,
वह करो जो कभी न किया हो,
जियो, जैसे जीने के लिए आज का ही दिन मिला हो।

छल (गाना)

दबी-दबी सी,
है हँसी मेरी,
कुछ उलझी-उलझी सी,
है तक़दीर मेरी ।

कौन है भरोसेमंद यहाँ?
छल से भरा है ज़माना,
कौन है मित्र किसका?
कौन अपना, कौन पराया ।

सब दुनियावाले,
नक़ाब पहनकर है घूमते,
चेहरे पर बनते हैं अच्छे,
घूमते ही बन जाते हैं बुरे ।

दो तस्वीरें रखते हैं लोग,
बदलते रहते है ढूँढते ही संजोग,
नादान परिंदे, रहे हैं भोग,
ऐसे लोगों का फैलाया रोग ।

दबी-दबी सी,
है हँसी मेरी,
कुछ उलझी-उलझी सी,
है तक़दीर मेरी ।

छल से तुम बने,
अच्छे से बुरे,
कभी पूछा है खुद से,
अपनों से कितने हुए हो परे?

बुरी आदतें,
शीघ्र है सीखते,
संस्कार अपने,
है भूल जाते ।

प्रख्यात बनने की चाह में,
छोड़ जाते हैं हम अपनों को राह में,
इस दुनिया के छल की आग में,
हम हैं तबाह होते ।

दबी-दबी सी,
है हँसी मेरी,
कुछ उलझी-उलझी सी,
है तक़दीर मेरी ।

A Mother's Love

When you are born,
Your first cry,
Is heard by your Mom.

She holds you in her arms,
And thanks God,
While promising Him not to cause you any harm.

A child,
Is a mother's pride,
She protects him from this world that's wild.

Unconditional is her love,
She knows no boundaries,
For you, she will fight with the sky above.

She wants her kid,
To be the best,
And she'll ensure to give you more than what you deserve without batting an eyelid.

She is selfless,
She is protective,
Never will she let the world destroy the life of her prince or princess.

She will always love you,
Till her last breath,
And will keep on inspiring you.

Don't you hurt her,
Don't cause her pain,
Because she is the one to bring you here.

Love and respect her feelings,
She'll always be the best,
As she's the first woman to tug your heart's strings.

तुम कहीं, मैं कहीं

सौ बार तुमको देखा,
सौ बार तुम पे हुए फिदा,
यह आँखें तेरी कह जाए मुझे,
तुझसे में कभी न होऊँ जुदा ।

कुदरत ने ऐसी बनाई हमारी लकीरें,
कि वह है एक जगह पर मिलते,
जीवन की संघर्षों को साथ मिलकर करें सामना,
चले साथ हम जहाँ हैं जलते अंगारे ।

सौ वादे किए,
सौ बिताए लम्हे,
यह ज़िन्दगी है अधूरी,
तुम बिन हम एक कदम भी न चले ।

मगर हालात हुए कुछ ऐसे,
तुम मुझसे दूर चलते गए,
थक गए तुम्हें ढूँढकर हम,
तुम बिन हम साँसें न ले सके ।

अगर पता होता हमें,
कि ऐसे दिन आएँगे,
तो पहले ही हो जाते सतर्क,
तुम्हें कभी न छोड़ते अकेले ।

अब तुम्हें खो चुके हैं हम,
तुम्हें न देखने का है दिल में ग़म,
कहाँ खोजती रहूँगी मैं?
मेरे हौसले तोड़ने लगे हैं दम ।

मिलना है हमें तुमसे,
करनी है ढेर सारी बातें,
तुम चले गए हो बहुत दूर,
अब तो सारी मुलाक़ातें बन गई हैं यादें ।

तुम हो कहीं,
मैं हूँ कहीं,
अब तो हमें वह ही मिलाएगा,
जिन पर भरोसा करते हैं सभी ।
