Heard of a city,
Where activities are ongoing,
No matter what the situation might be?
Unlimited passion for work,
The hustle of being punctual,
The courage to face situations,
With all smiles, walks an individual.
Carefree, yet dedicated,
Every person has a thousand stories,
Life keeps inspiring Mumbai,
To move on without any worries.
A pandemic that's claiming lives,
Every country taking precaution,
Leaders making isolation pleas,
To rescue the rest of their nations.
Couldn't imagine a situation,
That'll bring things to a standstill,
A deadly virus, yes that's the cause,
Of fear and panic to fill.
People who dreamt of spending,
Quality time with their kins,
Are now able to fulfill it,
But amidst isolation.
Stay home, stay safe,
Booms all over the media,
A time to explore inner talents,
That are not trivia.
Chants and prayers for sufferers,
Cleanliness and checks maintained all over,
The death toll is rising drastically,
Staying amidst isolation is the best measure.
