The clock is ticking,
At its regular pace,
Are we able to match it?
We sometimes feel misplaced.
It's now or never,
How do we cope?
I thought I was knowledgeable,
Until I met the geniuses down life's slope.
They were far more advanced,
Knew tricks that I had only imagined,
What was first written on paper,
Is now translated into different languages in mere seconds.
Time is running,
We are aware, yet ignorant,
When we see our toddlers transforming into responsible adults,
We wished we could pause and rewind, but possible it isn't.
Why not live in the moment,
And enjoy it in depth?
Because today what you have might become a memory,
That flashes in your mind till the last breath.
